The case in Media (DelCo) Court

The trial at the Media Courthouse has been moving as well, but it seems to be two steps forward and one step back.  On August 27, 2021, Judge Whelan, presiding over “Peco Energy Company v. Marple Township Zoning Hearing Board”, sent the case back to the Marple Zoning Hearing Board (MZHB) for them to consider again.  “This matter is remanded to the Marple Township Zoning Board for an additional hearing at which time Petitioner may supplement the record and introduce evidence as set forth in Appellant’s Motion. Appellant may have an opportunity to respond at said hearing.”

WITH THE CASE RETURNING TO THE MARPLE ZONING HEARING BOARD, PECO WILL AGAIN COME BEFORE THE MZHB TO MAKE THEIR CASE. THE RESIDENTS OF MARPLE TOWNSHIP NEED TO BE THERE TO SUPPORT THE MZHB.
